What our parents are saying…

“Ever since COVID, so many people withdrew from society and spent less time meeting people so I took my girls out of school and homeschooled them and that is one of the things they struggled with.

Once my daughters joined this Visual Arts Program with Creating Exposure Through the Arts I watched them open up and became comfortable talking with other photographers. I watched them grow into their own and become themself.

I am excited about all the things this program and Creating Exposure is going to do, especially allowing them to get involved in the Behind The Ink photography and film project.”

Aliyah Minter

“I signed my daughter up to get her out and socialize after a friend provided me a link to register for the CEA Visual Arts classes at the Naomi Drenan Recreation Center. Initially, Sage did not want to go but after a few weeks, she raised her hand and answered a question in class.

I think this is great and awesome, especially when she can enroll in the ASC Culture Blocks program that it is free. She will gain a skill and learn from people who put time and energy into it. I am super excited for my daughter to learn from experienced people in the Visual Arts.”
